Lightweight but sturdy

In need of a new backpack for work, the main criteria was something waterproof, large and sturdy enough to cope with the paraphernalia I carry with me including books and paperwork. I also wanted something with a bit of colour and to tick some environmental boxes. The reviews of Eco Chic backpacks and the price was enough for me to order one and to see how we got on. When the package arrived I wasn't sure the backpack could handle everything I would throw at it but so far it's handled everything well. So much so that I'm already planning to buy a second bag for shopping, etc as there are so many designs to choose from.

The outer material of our Eco Chic bags are made up of 100% rPET material, which is recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) material mainly coming from plastic bottles.

To ensure they are made from authentic rPET, we only purchase audited materials certified by GRS.

Eco Chic bags are safe to machine wash at low temperatures without damaging the fabric.

Plastic-based fabrics however, may release plastic microfibres into the water when washed; to minimise this we recommend washing your bags only when necessary, and to hand wash if possible. If using a washing machine, wash at 30°C or lower. Do not tumble dry.
